Alcott Walk & Talk

Join fellow Alcott parents and caregivers for our first monthly community walk. Meet at the front entrance after drop-off, enjoy complimentary coffee or tea from the Alcott PTG, and take a leisurely stroll around town. It’s a relaxed chance to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and strengthen the community that makes Alcott special. All caregivers are welcome, with younger siblings in strollers. No RSVP needed—just come along. Watch for next month’s walk!

Multicultural Day

Many Cultures, One Community!  Join us for a special event celebrating the many cultures, traditions, foods, and stories that make our Alcott community so unique! Families are invited to share a favorite cultural dish and the story behind it, or submit a song that represents their culture for our “Music Without Borders” playlist. We are also looking for volunteers to help make this special evening a success!  Unity • Understanding • Respect

3rd Grade Meetup

This casual fall get-together is for all Alcott 3rd graders and their families — siblings welcome too!

When: Friday, October 23rd, starting at 4pm (drop by anytime, stay as long as you like)
Where: Emerson Playground, Concord
What to bring: A picnic dinner if you'd like — we'll also have some kid-friendly snacks on hand. Feel free to bring a craft, Pokémon cards, or another quiet activity if your kid isn't in the mood for the playground. We'll try to reserve a couple benches / picnic tables.

No RSVP needed — just come by! Looking forward to seeing you there.

Turkey Trot

Students take pledges over the next few weeks from family and friends based on how many laps they complete in 15 minutes. ALL donations will go directly to Open Table and the Concord Recreation Department Scholarship Fund. Pledges are due December 4th. A PayPal link will be posted after the event. Movie Night

Sign up to volunteer during the event

Join us on Friday, October 2nd for a fan-favorite Alcott Movie Night! The movie will be decided by the students the week leading up to the event via small change donations in buckets in the main lobby. Concessions will be available starting at 5:30pm, and the movie will begin at 6pm to allow for greater participation by some of our younger Alcott families!

Kate Smith & Emily Dreitz are looking for additional volunteers to help make Alcott Movie Night a blockbuster event!

METCO Family Friends Year-End Ice Cream Social

METCO Family Friends wraps up a great year together with one final celebration on the Alcott playground. We can't wait to see you there over pizza & ice cream - and playground fun

Please note: This is not a drop-off event. Concord Pride Parade

Join fellow Alcott families and allies as we march in this year's Concord Pride parade on Saturday June 6! We will meet outside the Umbrella Arts Center at 9:45am. The parade kicks off at 10am and travels from the Umbrella to the flagpole in Monument Square. Wear your most festive Pride gear and show support for our LGTBQIA+ friends and neighbors!

Spring Parent Social

Field Day

Hello Alcott Community: Our annual Alcott Field Day is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, and we need parent volunteers! Stations will take place on our back fields and blacktop from approximately 9:30am-11:45 am. If you would like to volunteer to help, please fill out the google form at the following link. We will need approximately 45 volunteers, so please sign up as soon as you can. Bike to School Day

We need a couple volunteers to make sure this Safe Routes to School event is a success! We would love to have one parent stay behind at the departure point to make sure all students who are participating have left with the Bike Train and the safety officer escort, as well as another volunteer to help greet the bikers/walkers at Alcott and distribute some prizes.
