Walk to School Day
Where: We will meet on the Main Library Lawn for some hot chocolate, courtesy of the Alcott PTG and the Alcott Green Team.
- The "Walking train" leaves the station at around 8:40AM
- A "Walking School Bus" for METCO students will join us on the way!
Who: This event is for Alcott students, parents, family and friends. As always, thank you to the Concord Police Department for their support in making this event safe and fun for all!
Please note some important information about this event:
The walking train is ONE WAY ONLY to school!
Please make the necessary arrangements with the school if this affects your children's dismissal process.
This is NOT a drop off event. Parents are asked to either participate in the walking train with their child, or wait until the group has departed the library lawn before leaving. Please coordinate with another adult if you are unable to accompany your child(ren).
If you would like to volunteer to help manage the hot chocolate tables, please use this sign up. Any help is greatly appreciated!
