Ice Cream Party June 6th!
To celebrate the end of the school year and congratulate all our students on a fantastic year, the Alcott PTG is sponsoring an Ice Cream Celebration in school on Friday, June 6. Pre-scooped ice cream from Bedford Farms and allergy-friendly Italian ice will be handed out after students' lunch recess periods. Look out for more information from your child's teacher and respond to the survey (to come!) to participate! We need parent volunteers to help hand out frozen treats at the event to make this happen. Thank you for signing up here!

Library Book Swap and Returns
May 23rd will be the last day for book checkout. Please return all books to the library by June 6th. If you can't find any items, please replace them or send in a check payable to "Alcott Lost Book Fund" so that we may replace them.
The Library Book Swap will run from May 27th - June 6th. During class library time, students can exchange 1-3 books from home that they no longer want (elementary school age appropriate and in gently used condition) for books that other students have swapped.
Thank you for supporting the Alcott Library.

5th Grade Spring Fair Rescheduled to May 30!
The Spring Fair has been rescheduled to Friday, May 30! It will be held during the school day. The Spring Fair is organized by the 5th graders to raise money and provide a fun morning out in the sunshine for the whole school. The 5th graders will be designing various games and activities, so please have your kids dress appropriately with sneakers and bring a small bag for any prizes they collect. Each class will rotate into the fair for 30 minutes. This year we are doing pre-order ticket sales that will be $8 per student, and kids will be able to play as many games as the time permits. K-4 students can purchase their Spring Fair tickets HERE, or use the QR code below:
