PTG Highlights: Yearbooks for Sale and Year End Events

2016/2017 Alcott Yearbook

A limited number of yearbooks are available to purchase. Each yearbook is now $40.00.  Purchase online at the Alcott Store.  Once we sell out there will be no more - so please order soon.  

When ordering, please include the following information:  Student Name, Grade and Homeroom along with a phone number or email so we can contact you if needed.

Yearbooks will be passed out to school via homeroom around Wednesday, June 7th if ordered by June 6th.

METCO Late Bus + Ice Cream Social

Tuesday, June 6th is the last METCO Late Bus of the year!  At 3:30 there is an ice cream party at Alcott for METCO buddies who are in Concord for a playdate.  Bus leaves promptly at 4:30.

PTG Meeting

Wednesday, June 7th is the last PTG Meeting of the year!  9:30 am in the conference room.  All are welcome!  To join via conference line, please check the Thursday Owl for call in details.

Alcott Variety Show

The Alcott Variety Show is this Thursday, June 8th at 6 pm in the auditorium.  While this will not be a ticketed event, a $10 donation is suggested to benefit the 6th floor Inpatient Oncology team at Boston Children's Hospital.  NEW this year is a Teacher Fashion Show!

Transition Ceremony is Thursday, June 15th from 1:45 - 3:30 pm.  Join in the Clap Out our 5th Graders at 12:30 Friday afternoon June 16th.

PTG Highlights: Spring Workshops Sign Up, Order Original Works Now, Alcott Yearbook, METCO Late Bus 4/11.

Sign Up for Alcott Spring Workshops Now!  

Looking for before or after school enrichment for your child?   Come view the list of workshops for spring!  Stretch your mind or body with Math Club, Lego’s, Before School Sports, Bollywood Dance, Karate or Orchestra.  Try something new this season and play Tennis, or learn how to make stop motion movies.  All workshops begin week of 4/24 and run thru first week of June. Classes are 6 weeks in length.  Registration began this past Wednesday April 5 at 7am, and is still open.  To register click here or follow these instructions for registration. If you have any questions, contact the PTG workshop committee alcottworkshops@gmail.com.

Orders are being accepted through April 10th if you have yet to place an order for your child's artwork.  To place a last minute order, contact contact Jane Baldini at jane.baldini@gmail.com. You can check out Original Works online . 

2016/2017 Alcott Yearbook On Sale Now

It’s Time to Order Your 2017 Alcott Yearbook!  Cost for each yearbook is:

$31.50 if ordered by 4/7
$35.00 if ordered by 4/28The final deadline to purchase a 2017 yearbook is April 28, 2017.  

For your convenience you can use the fast, easy on-line system:

  1. Visit www.coffeepond.com
  2. Move the cursor to Yearbook.  Click on Yearbook Order from the drop down menu.
  3. Order window – Enter the School Password: hello bronson (all lower case with the space). Click bubble for on-line ordering.
  4. Follow directions on website.  Please select your child’s teacher and homeroom from the pull-down menu.

If possible, please use the website to order. It is easy and you can pay by credit card. There are options to customize each yearbook when ordering online only!  For families who prefer to pay by check, follow the instructions for Mail-In Order online or use the instructions here.  Make your check payable to “Coffee Pond”, include your student’s name, teacher name and homeroom and a phone number in case we need to contact you.  Mail or drop off your check and student information to the Alcott School Office, Attn: Twito, Alcott Yearbook, 93 Laurel St, Concord, MA 01742.

THE ALCOTT YEARBOOK NEEDS YOUR PHOTOS! Please submit any photos you would like to be included by April 14th to alcottyearbook01742@gmail.com.  Email photos at the highest resolution possible.

The METCO Late Bus: Tuesday, April 11th

Please make sure students are back at Alcott by 4:15 to board the bus and don’t forget to send in a dismissal note to the office if you are having a play date. Stay tuned for details about our Spring events! The remaining late bus dates are May 9 and June 7.
