PTG Highlights: Field Day, Family Fun Night, SEPAC Meeting, PTG Slate, School Supply, Happening at Alcott

Alcott Field Day is June 4th! Remember to apply sunscreen and bring your water bottle!

Alcott Family Fun Night is June 6th at 5:30-8pm. Pack a picnic and bring the whole family. DJ with dancing and games and field games as well as face painting. Ice cream truck @6-7:30, bring $1-$4 per treat and make sure to tell Sweet Pete’s truck if you have any allergies when ordering. Rain date June 7. Remember water bottles and sunscreen if it’s a sunny evening.

Please join us at the SEPAC Board Meeting! The Concord Public Schools and Concord-Carlisle Regional School District Special Education Parent Advisory Council would like to invite you to our final Board meeting of the year. When: Thursday, 6th June from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Where: Conference Room, Hunt Recreation Center, 90 Stow Street. Please enter through the glass doors by the basketball courts which are on the left hand side of the building. We have a couple of open seats left on the 2019-2020 SEPAC Board. Please consider joining a community of parents who work together to ensure our students get the very best education possible. If you would like to be involved but don’t have much time to spare; we have many small tasks that can be done from home at anytime of the day. PTG Highlights: Alcott Variety Show is Friday, 5/31!

The Alcott Variety Show is this Friday, May 31st at 6pm!

The show takes place in the Alcott Auditorium, doors will open at 5:30pm. Please consider buying raffle tickets for the 50/50 raffle! Ticket are $5 each or 3/$10. All proceeds will go to the 6th Floor Pediatric Oncology Unit at Boston Children's Hospital.

PTG Highlights: Sharon Young Scholarship Fund & Celebration

A RETIREMENT CELEBRATION FOR SHARON YOUNG

Sharon Young Retirement Celebration

Please join us on Thursday May 23rd from 3:45-5:00 to celebrate Ms. Young’s retirement. You can extend the invitation to friends, neighbors, former students and anyone who would like to stop in and help us celebrate Sharon’s 16 years at Alcott. If your child will be joining you at the celebration please send in a note for flagpole pickup and you can meet your child at the flagpole and walk over to the cafeteria.

Please take a moment to write a note to share your thoughts, memories and moments with Sharon. If you have a student at Alcott, past or present, they are welcome to send in a note, drawing or memory as well!

We would like to have all the kind words collected by Friday, May 17th. Just drop it by the Alcott Office to the Box Marked ?? or send it in to your students teacher in an envelope marked ?? and it will make its way to the office. They will be bundled together and presented to her on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 3:45-5:00 pm in the Alcott Cafeteria at a retirement celebration, we hope you can join us!

In lieu of gifts, please consider donating to the Sharon Young Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund will help CCHS students pay for educational travel opportunities. All donations are tax deductible. Checks should be made payable to the Concord Carlisle Regional School District with the Sharon Young Scholarship in the memo line and can be sent to Alcott or brought to the event.
