PTG Highlights: Fall Fest, Picture Day, Halloween Costume Donations, New Family Evening, Book Fair, Turkey Trot, Fall Fundraiser, Happening at Alcott

Fall Fest Tickets, Coffee Raffle and Basket Raffles Tickets on Sale on Tuesday October 15th at Dismissal: Are you not able to attend the Fall Fest on October 19th but still want to support the PTG by buying Basket Raffle tickets? NEW this year, you may buy basket raffle tickets at dismissal on Tuesday the 15th at pre-sale prices and put them in the theme containers.  Winners do NOT need to be present to win and will be contacted via email or text message to pick up their baskets.

School Picture Day: Picture day is next Thursday, Oct 17!! If you haven’t received an order form via your child’s backpack, please contact the office. Volunteers needed!! Come help out at picture day!! Bonus- you get a sneak peek at your child’s yearly photo!!! Please sign up here

Halloween Costume Donations: Concord Family Network is collecting gently used Halloween costumes (in good conditions) for children ages 1-10. A donation box will be stationed in the main school hallway until Friday, October 25, and a second donation box has been placed at the Concord Recreation Hunt building. The costumes will be used for CFN's Halloween Party and Costume Swap & Sale on Sunday, October 27th from 10-11:30am at Concord Scout House. Part of the proceeds will go to First Connections to support postpartum mothers and new families. If you have any questions, email Sheri Long at

Alcott Book Fair: Kicking off at Fall Fest on 10/19, the Alcott Book Fair is a great way to create some reading buzz, support Alcott programming and donate books to classrooms. We need volunteers during the classroom visits on Monday October 21st through Wednesday October 23rd.  You can sign up at: 2019 Book Fair Classroom Visit Volunteers

Concord Integrated Preschool (CIPS) Openings for 2020-2021: CIPS is hosting an OPEN HOUSE on Thursday, October 22nd from 6:30-7:30PM at the Ripley Building (120 Meriam Road). Children welcome! CIPS is designed to foster a love of learning through a positive first school experience. We provide the foundation for lifelong learning by encouraging children to become independent, self-confident, and inquisitive learners. Our program provides educationally enriched and stimulating environments, where children learn through play and developmentally appropriate activities. CIPS offers highly trained staff and an exceptionally creative curriculum.  Full and half day classes available. Fall Fest Specialty Raffle: An Alcott family has generously donated a Breadstand Household Machine, a professional café machine simplified for home use, to support the PTG and Children's Programs. Raffle tickets for this specialty item are $10 each and can be purchased here or at school dismissal on Tuesday October 15th, and at Fall Fest on Saturday October 19th. The drawing will take place at around 3:45 pm at Fall Fest, but you do NOT need to be present to win this amazing prize! Winners will be contacted by phone or email to claim the prize. Turkey Trot: It’s back!  The Alcott School Turkey Trot is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 9:30-11:45 at the Emerson Track. This event has raised over $112,000 in the past 23 years. Our pledges this year will be helping Open Table and the Concord Recreation Department Scholarship Fund. Please note this is not a PTG fundraiser. 100% of what we raise goes directly to the charities! Please click here for more information. Volunteers are always appreciated! Alcott Fall Fest Event and Raffle Tickets On Sale Now! Event tickets and raffle tickets are available for now! Purchase your raffle tickets here and pick up them at the check-in desk on your way into Fall Fest. Click here for a complete list of basket themes and to purchase tickets. Winners will be announced at 3:30 at the event. You do not have to be present to win; winners will be notified via email and/or text. The pre-sale ends on Wednesday October 16th. 

PTG Fall Fundraiser: Get a head start on holiday shopping with our fall fundraiser! The selection combines the best of all fundraising worlds: kitchen, candles, food, gift wrap, home decor, baking, jewelry, games, cleaning, and tech gifts. There is something for everyone to enjoy! The fundraiser runs from October 1 - October 14  and you will have the product in time for the holidays.
