CCACE launches Wednesday night Speaker Series! With cold weather ahead and the pandemic keeping us inside, what better way to spend your time than learning something new?? Every Wednesday evening from January 13 through March 31, different community members will share their passions and knowledge, from historical to cultural, education to entertainment, and everything in between. Each week is a different topic; all start at 7 pm with just a $10 fee. Register weekly at www.concordcarlisleace.org, or call CCACE at 978-318-1432.

IMSCC music lessons for new students are enrolling now – the Winter/Spring session starts this month! Online lessons are available for all band and orchestra instruments, plus voice, piano, guitar, bass guitar and ukulele. Discovery Museum Virtual 2021 Speaker Series: The Discovery Museum Speaker Series kicks off its 9th year on January 27 with Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum, President Emerita of Spelman College who is widely known for her expertise on race relations and as a thought leader in higher education. “Talking to Kids about Race and Racism: A Conversation with Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum,” will be moderated by Tiziana Dearing, host of WBUR’s Radio Boston. dAll 2021 events will be presented virtually via Zoom webinar, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, and are free and open to the public. Intro to Drawing @ Home
This virtual class through The Umbrella Arts teaches children how to draw! Each class will include a story, structured drawing lesson, and creative option to finish the art work off.

Wicked Gross Science
Gross Science is not for the easily queasy! The gross yet fascinating things in life hide many science secrets like what's hidden in a diaper. Classify some creepy crawlies and neutralize smelly smells. Make some model mucus, create alien slime, have fun with other grossly amusing science adventures.

Code Wiz Classes
Code Wiz aligns its curriculum with the K–12 Computer Science Framework represents a vision in which all students engage in the concepts and practices of computer science. The framework promotes a vision in which all students critically engage in computer science issues; approach problems in innovative ways; and create computational artifacts with a practical, personal, or societal intent.
