Have You Ever Wondered How PTG Funds Get Spent?

Here’s one example! The PTG recently funded 56 copies of Book Uncle and Me by Uma Krishnaswami for third-grade students to use during WIN time. Supporting Grade 3’s Power of Reading module, the book builds fluency and comprehension while encouraging thoughtful discussion. Students love their small-group “book clubs”, asking one another questions, exploring figurative language, and connecting with the story’s Indian setting and diverse experiences. Thank you to the PTG for bringing more books and meaningful conversations to our readers!
