Alcott Chess Club:  We're back and we hope you will come back too.  Think about it. Well, the Chess Club is the perfect reason to rise and come to school early. Get that head start on the day.  Click here for registration form. Hope to see you Jan. 19.  We'd love to have you back. Valery Frenklakh & Ken Belt, Alcott Chess Club.

Staff Appreciation Luncheon

Alcott’s 2017 Winter Staff Appreciation Luncheon, Tuesday January 24 at 12:30 pm at Alcott School Cafeteria:  Let's go all out, and show our beloved Alcott staff how much we appreciate them and all they do. Please help out by contributing a food item (you CAN use nuts in your ingredients).  Go in on a food item with a friend or two and share the cost.  Sign-up here.  Drop off your food items in the cafeteria after 9 a.m. and before 12:00 p.m. on the day of the luncheon.  We do not have use of ovens, so any food that needs to be served warm should be dropped off closer to 12:00 p.m.  Please use disposable containers if possible to help speed up cleanup. We know people are very busy, please consider making a financial contribution in lieu of making food.  The staff appreciation committee will use your contribution to purchase "special" food items from local food establishments for this event.  Send in your contribution in an envelope marked Staff Appreciation Luncheon to the Alcott office.  Make checks payable to Alcott PTG by Monday, January 23, 2017.  As always, thank you for making this event special for the Alcott Staff.  If you have further questions, please email Jennifer Soillis & Angela Lipson.
