Alcott’s 1st Annual Fall Festival, October 14, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., Rain or Shine! (Note: This event replaces Monster Mash) Check out this mostly outdoor event that’s safe and fun for the entire family! Come for the afternoon or pop in between Saturday activities. Here’s a sample of what to expect: Book Fair, Crafts, Face Painting, Games, Prizes, Dunk-A-Dad, DJ, Theme Basket Raffle, Yo Yo Guy, Hay Ride, and Food. Stay tuned for info on special guests for Dunk Tank and Book Fair! Costumes optional. (NOT a drop-off event; parents or responsible adult must accompany children.) Like any event, Fall Festival will only be successful to the extent generous people like you are willing to help!  Please take a moment to review opportunities and sign up here.

PTG Highlights: Parents at Lunch

Parents at Lunch

The Parent at Lunch program allows Alcott parents to join their students for lunch on the last Friday of every month. The first Parent at Lunch for this school year will be on Friday September 29th.  There are 8 spots per grade level- note that parents are not permitted to attend a second time until all the other parents on the wait list have attended.  Sign up is via this Google Docs link: PAL Sign Up Sheet  

Sign up must be completed by Friday, September 22nd in order for CORI’s to be verified.  Please take note that parents MUST have a valid CORI on file in order to attend the lunch.  If you do not have a CORI, or are unsure if your previous CORI is still valid, please visit the main office with an ID to complete the form. The form must be completed in person and can take up to two weeks.   You will not be allowed to attend without a valid CORI.  There are usually opportunities to complete CORI’s at Back to School night, for future dates.  Leave the CORI validation spot blank on the form as the office will complete it.  Looking forward this year, the lunch dates for 2017-2018 are: 10/27, 11/17, 12/22, 1/26, 2/16, 3/23, 4/27, 5/25 and 6/8. Finally, if your class is full, please enter your name on the waitlist.
