Your teachers care, show them you do too!

Fifth Grade FOOD Drive To Benefit Open Table: For the next two weeks, 5th graders will be working together on a community service project to benefit Open Table, a local food pantry and meal program whose mission is to address hunger in our community by providing healthy food in a welcoming environment. From January 25th to February 5th, Grade 5 students will host a canned food drive at Alcott and are asking all students and families for help to make it a success. Please bring in donations of non-perishable food items - like soup, beans, vegetables, chili, and tuna. You can send donations in with your student or drop them off in the bin outside the front door of the school. All donations will be sorted and packed by fifth graders and delivered to Open Table before February vacation. Many thanks for your support of this great organization!
